• Here is some code that shows an example of ignoring the exception, which is not the typical case.

• Usually you will want to "recover" or do something when an exception is thrown.

• In your code, you will surround the code that can throw an exception with a try block.
• You can put multiple statements that can throw any number of exceptions in a single try-block.
  
• After the try block, you will list a catch block for each Exception class that needs to be caught.

• The block of code inside the catch block is executed when the exception is thrown.

• The first block matching the class of the exception is executed.

• You can list a subclass before the parent class to handle specific types of errors and still provide default behavior for other exceptions belonging to the parent class.

• Any exceptions belonging to the Error or RuntimeError class do not need to explicitly listed.

• These are called implicit exceptions and are thrown automatically by the JDK.

• Typically your code cannot handle these exceptions, so they are not caught.

• Use the keyword finally to specify a block of code that should always execute, even if an exception is thrown (and even if there's a return inside the catch block!).
