• The find command is used to search for files.
• Note that this is not the same as grep, which searches for string inside files.
• The first argument to find is the directory from which to start the search.
  
• It is a very powerful (read complicated!) command.
• Here are a few useful versions. What does each one do?
  

• The name flag finds files using metacharacter expressions to match the file names:
