PFUN Panel
We will gather a panel of CMU students who lived through PFUN to discuss how it has helped them, and how it can help you, in your coursework, internships, and careers.
Attendance is required.
Panelists:
- Felicien Ihirwe, MSECE2019, is a Ph.D. student in computer science at the University of L'Aquila-Italy. He is currently working in the Innovation Technology Service (ITS) lab of Intecs Solutions Spa. Felicien is a member of the Lowcomote project, an EU-funded project under ITN Marie Curie Slovakia training program aiming to train the next generation of experts that will upgrade the current trend of Low-code Development platforms (LCPDs) to a new paradigm, Low-code Engineering Platforms (LCEPs). His interest lies in Software engineering, Low-code engineering, and the Internet of Things. For more detailed info

- My name is Tanya Akumu, an MSECE graduate in the class of 2021. Prior to joining CMU I had near to zero experience in programming as my work focused on hardware engineering. After my first year at CMU-Africa, I got an internship where I was initially supposed to do embedded systems development, but as the project advanced, I had to switch to software development, specifically in the web applications (backend and database).
- Video Panelist: Hamdalat Alabi is a student in MSIT class of 2021. She shares her experience of how PFUN helped her secure a role as a Robotic Process Automation Intern at BAC last summer.
